Abstract

The era of globalization has brought significant changes  in various aspects of human life, be it politics, economy, social, culture, and others. Likewise, changes in institutions both in the profit and non-profit sectors. This condition requires leaders to have adaptive leadership behavior and be able to anticipate these changes. The era of globalization presents new dynamics in the lives of religious people, including Muslim leaders. This study analyzes the complex challenges faced by Muslim leaders in managing diversity, religious moderation and at the same time maintaining an authentic Islamic identity, in addition, Muslim leaders also face social challenges, global politics and how the role of Muslim leaders in the digital era on social media
