The Dynamics of Healthcare Workers' Experiences at Bukittinggi Hospital: Challenges and Hopes in Improving Service Quality
Main Article Content
Abstract
This study explores the subjective experiences of healthcare workers at Bukittinggi Hospital in facing service challenges and their expectations for improving service quality. Using a phenomenological approach, data were collected through in-depth interviews and participatory observations. The findings reveal that high workloads, limited facilities, and emotional pressure are the primary challenges in their work. Additionally, healthcare workers expect better policies in the work system and improved facilities to enhance healthcare service quality. These findings provide insights for hospital management in designing policies that are more responsive to the needs of healthcare workers, thereby improving their well-being while also enhancing the quality of patient care.
